Information about Manufacturing Chemist:
An Ayurvedic Manufacturing Chemist works as a professional in the Ayurvedic industry who is responsible for the day-to-day activities for production and quality control. And he/she takes care of the care related to the entire manufacturing process. Manufacturing Chemist is defined as a person who is authorized to conduct, initiate and perform the manufacturing process of Ayurvedic products and services at the manufacturing premises.
Qualification:
We have discussed some important points that to become an Ayurvedic Manufacturing Chemist you must have any one qualification based on the following points
- As an Ayurvedic Manufacturing Chemist, you must have a Diploma in Ayurveda, Siddha or Unani System of Medicine recognized by the State Government, Or
- You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmacy, Botany from a University recognized by the Central Government with at least 2 or 3 years’ experience in the manufacture of Ayurvedic or Siddha or Unani medicines. Or
- If you have at least 4 or 5 years of experience in manufacturing Ayurvedic medicines as a Vaidya, Hakim or Doctor, you can register yourself as a Manufacturing Chemist with your State Medical Council with necessary documents . Or
- As a Pharmacist, you must have a qualification recognized by the Central Government with at least 8 years of experience in the manufacture of Ayurvedic or Siddha or Unani medicines.
Information about Analytical Chemist:
An analytical chemist is a person who has expertise in the field of analytical chemistry. Which plays its primary role in the quality and purity, efficacy of Ayurvedic products. An Analytical Chemist is defined as a person authorized to conduct and implement all testing and quality check procedures relating to products
- An Analytical Chemist may have specialization in Botanist, Chemist and Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani or Pharmacist. Apart from this, they should have a Bachelor’s degree in Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani/Chemistry and Botany from a recognized University of the State. Along with this they should have at least 2 years of experience in testing or analysis of products as per Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani Pharmacopoeia.
