Area and Machinery required for starting Ayurvedic Manufacturing unit.

Hello Sir my name is Anuj, I regularly read your blog articles and I am very impressed with the way the demand for Ayurvedic medicines has increased in the last few years and now I have decided to set up my own manufacturing unit, however I have some questions regarding this like how much covered area will be required to set up the manufacturing unit. Also, how much budget will be required for machinery, equipment and herbs.

Hello Anuj thanks for joining our blog articles, Anuj see if you want to set up your own Ayurvedic manufacturing unit, first of all you will need enough space to carry out all types of manufacturing processes, apart from this you have to prepare a list of medicines you want to make and calculate the cost of the number of sections and machinery.

A covered area of ​​around 1200 sq ft will be required to divide the premises for the equipment used, raw materials and other activities. Also, if you want to manufacture Unani medicines and Ayurvedic medicines in the same premises, you will need an additional area of ​​400 sq ft.
